So I found some poems about being a mother and I just thought these fit my mother, that I thought I would share.

Super Mom
Mom, you're a wonderful mother,
So gentle, yet so strong.
The many ways you show you care
Always make me feel I belong.

You're patient when I'm foolish;
You give guidance when I ask;
It seems you can do most anything;
You're the master of every task.

You're a dependable source of comfort;
You're my cushion when I fall.
You help in times of trouble;
You support me whenever I call.

I love you more than I can express;
You have my total respect.
If I had my choice of mothers,
You'd be the one I'd select!

How did you find the energy, Mom
To do all the things you did,
To be teacher, nurse and counselor
To me, when I was a kid.

How did you do it all, Mom,
Be a chauffeur, cook and friend,
Yet find time to be a playmate,
I just can’t comprehend.

I see now it was love, Mom
That made you come whenever I'd call,
Your inexhaustible love, Mom
And I thank you for it all.

Rolling Over

I caught Brooklynn in action yesturday. She is offically rolling over from back to tummy now! Yay!!! No more putting her on the couch by herself. She looks like on the video that she was so proud of herself. This video is actually the trial of the third time caughting on camera. She mastered the rolling before this, so I had to get it on film! Enjoy!!

Tribute to my Kids

Block heater

My father in law was putting in coolant into my car with Ash and they discovered that I have a block heater in my car. I've had my car since I was a junior in high school..long time.. about 7 years and have never known that I have a block heater in my car. My car would probably be a little better off all these years if I knew I had this in my car. So of course I had to let dad know because he bought the car, and was surprised to hear about this. The maker of my car really hid it b/c nobody knew about till now. So now Ash plugs in my car every night, so my car getting some treatment now..lol!!
Just thought I would share this little story of mine this week!!! lol :)

6 month visit

Yesturday Brooklynn had her 6 month baby check up. She is now at a whole 14.10 lbs and is measuring about 24 1/2 in long. She has gained 2 lbs and grew a whole 1/2 in. in TWO months. She is going to be a tiny little girl that is for sure. She is in the 20 something percentile for length and height but measured in the 50th percentile for her head. SOO Zuther side right there! The doctor was very pleased with everything and she looks very healthy so call for concerns. I curious what she will measure on her 12 month checkup.
Tristen came along for the checkup and in the waiting room he was kissing and giving her hugs and saying 'it ok baby'. So cute! He was such a little flirt with the female nurses! Such a stinker.. this makes me wonder how teenage life is going to be, if the flirting is starting now. lol!!!
