I got a new job! Yay for me! I had an interview at a Middle School in Grand Forks today and was deciding all the way home if I wanted that job or the elementary school job and I made my decision with going with the elementary school. I will be working as a para for the school as well with other children! I'm hoping this will be a good experience! Now the sad part is to put my two weeks in with Easter Seals. Now that is here to finally quit that job I dont want to. Its sad to see that job go because I've been there so long, but I know its time to move on.
So I have until the 15th to find a daycare because that is my first day. I'm hoping it will work out.

Big Deals & Big Moments
To start off.. This is a big deal & moments for Ashton & I! I think more me..then anything.. anyways.. Yesturday.. I gave a bottle to Brooklynn for the very first time. I've been putting it off so yesturday when I found out I got a job interview I figured its time to give the bottle... so I did. She didn't really want it at first and thought it was a little funny feeling in her mouth, thats what it looked like on her face anyway. But she then eventually figured it out and she did really well. She had another one before going to bed as well. I'm soo happy for her! This is a big deal, because my biggest fear was that she was either not going to except it or rather have that then breastfeed. I'm soo happy she likes to have both. Tristen was the very same way! They are soo much alike at this age its soo unreal!
And Today.. Tristen fed himself his meal by himself with a fork.. no help from mommy what so ever.. well cleaning up the after math on the plate but he did all himself. I was going to help in between and he wouldn't have it. Hopefully this a start of him eating his food by himself and no help from mommy & daddy!! I'm hoping I'm not jinx this.. This was soo exciting for me! This is another huge big deal and moment for us! Great Job Tristen!!!!!!! It was just a huge deal that I got pictures of it and video taped it.. that how big deal this was.. I'm probably being a nerd about this whole thing, but nobody realizes that his is HUGE!!! Finally.. being almost 2 1/2 he should be feeding himself his food. Don't get me wrong... he has fed himself before but he rather have had me feed him or daddy, but today was no except no mommy help! I'm so happy!!!

And everyone I called yesturday was either full or let one in and the not the other. And I don't want my children to go to two different daycare centers..that is just dumb. So the search is on...

Exciting!
So.. I was browsing on job service last week to find jobs in Grand Forks. I found this job for the Grand Forks School District as a special needs paraprofessional. I figured what the heck.. its close to what I want to do with my life.. not what I want to do with the rest of my life but close enough for now. So I filled out the application they had online and worked on my resume which was basically all done and did my cover letter. I worked on my cover letter forever to make sure it was perfect, but who knows. So I finally finished with everything for the job application yesturday and Here is the Exciting news.. This morning I got a call for a job interview next Thrusday. This is exciting for me becaues I do need a different job then Easter Seals and to expand my horizons. Its for a middle school and it sounds like something I wil be relaly interested in doing. I'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best. I dont want to jinx myself acting like I already have the job. I very much qualified for this job, but that doesnt matter it matters if they like me and if I fit well into their team. So.. EXCITING!!!
Now I have to get busy and find a daycare for my kids.. my mom will take care of them for now but can't all the time because she has alot of kids coming this fall. I'm also trying to go the process of finidng a preschool for Tristen for the following 2009 fall since this fall is to late I'm sure. I want my kids to go into a center, but right now its probably too late to get them into one since its around school time. I just need to hope for the best.

Updates & Friends
Some updates... well Brooklynn is now interacting with us with her beautiful smile and she is starting to coo. I will talk to her and its like having a little conversation with her..its so much fun! She is getting so big. Today she is 6 weeks old, which seriously where does this time go... I feel as though I have to take a million trillion pictures just so I can remember this age.
Tristen is a little stinker, but he is two and very curious. He loves getting into things he is not suppose to. An example.. if hes not suppose to touch the air conditioner and he come to me not Ashton me and say with his eyes wide open "Uh Oh or Huhh with a big sigh" Its funny but not. And all I have say is "What did you do" and he'll run away.. He knows then he is in trouble. I think it could be attention, but we give him alot so he is not deprived. He is a good boy. I'm starting to look at preschools for him, so thats exciting but nerve racking because thinking of my little boy growing up so fast.
Tristen has been approved to go down to the cities to get a check up, but now all I have to do is wait to hear what day. The hospital its suppose to call me back to schedule something and still havent heard anything. I'm hoping I'll hear something by the end of the week or I'll probably give them a call. The sooner the better!
Friends:
I had alot of visitors come over this week right in a row. I never have any friends come over or if I do its very rarely. So this was exciting for me.
First, my friend Nicole came over to visit and brought Brooklynn a gift. It was so cute. I got to spend some time with her, since its been awhile since I seen her last. Ashton took Tristen to his parents place and it was just us girls. Brooklynn loved the attention!
Then, my friend Emily came over a little bit with her two little ones. She has a little boy Tristen's age and they got to play with each other for the first time. That was fun to watch. Again.. Brooklynn loved the attention!!!
Lastly, my friend Kendra from TN came over yesturday and visited with her little girl. That was alot of fun. Its nice to catch up on old times and new things going on with us!

Busy like always
Yesturday Brooklynn turned one month old. Holy Cow!!! I feel as though she was just born. She has grown so much its unreal. We got her one month picture taken today at Sears and they turned out soo adorable. It was hard to pick from, but yet she my little girl and she is adorable so it would be really hard to choose from. Ashton gave me a budget and I went over just a little, I tend to do that..whoops..lol! But he got over that fast once he saw her pictures. Tristen got a couple pictures with her, giving her a kiss and posing with her.. they turned out so well.. he even wanted to take a picture with her, which we had to act fast upon because it doesnt last very long.
When we got home, I had to make a ton of phone calls to Tristen's doctor's nurse to get them to send his procedure results to Bismark for us to get approved to go the cities, then I had to call Bismark to ask when they all needed and then had to call the cities to get an appt lined up for us to go down there. Apparently we can not get an appointment until October b/c his urologist doesn't have any openings until then, which is hard to get an appt with him because he is only there in the Minneapolis office on Mondays which stinks. They always ask me if I want to go any other office like St.Paul, but I don't want to because that another direction I dont know how get around and don't plan on learning. I don't like big city driving so going to Minneapolis is penty for me. So now I have wait to get a call back for his appt. Ugh..life.. but it needs to be done, I just wish it was sooner then later.
Anyways.. life here is crazy like always, but its going pretty well. I trying to get into a routine and its slowly but surely getting on its way.
