Updates

Brooklynn is now crawling everywhere! She has been crawling going on a couple weeks now. She is talking more and more.. well babbling more and more. She thinks she is shot stuff when she stands up in her crib, which made Ash lower her crib a couple days back. She stands next to things and glides her feet back and forth. Her daycare made a prediction that she will be walking next month. I don't think so, I give her May or the latest June. I don't think she will be like Tristen and be 17 months old. I think Tristen was just a little scary cat! lol

Tristen is coming up with new things everyday. He makes up stories and when playing with his cars he pretends he is the driver and he needs to go somewhere.. it is so cute! My little man is getting so big. He went snowmobiling with Uncle Shaun for the 1st time this year, he wore big boy underwear but wouldn't potty, he thinks he needs to jump off literaly everything and says ok mommy just one more time, and he got his new bed that he is so proud of!

The excitment of the day

So I'm sitting at work correcting some papers, when our secertary at the school comes into the classroom and says that I need to clock out because my husband is in the ER. Uh, talk about almost freaking out. She told me to not get excited, because it isn't life threatening, but I need to go. So, I clocked out as fast I could and took off. I raced over the ER. They brought me back to where Ashton was and here is was laying on the bed all content, because of the medication he was on. He has a kidney stone. Yay..not very fun for him. I guess he was having severe stomach pains in the afternoon, and he called his mom and his mom was coming over anyways to babysit, and his mom found Ash on the floor in pain. The doctor at the ER said he needs to pass it and then he needs to have a follow up check up with his doctor. So, we sat in there for a few hours. I really don't like the ER. Its just something about them I don't like. I'm not a really big fan of hospitals in general.

Ash was hungry so we went to Green Mill to eat, and mom called me up to tell me that a family in Grandin, that I have known since I was little, the father (Chris) isn't doing good (has cancer) and the hospital has asked for the children to come in. This isn't a good sign. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Bohn family.

My Birthday Boy

Tristen is now 3! Wow! Yesturday my little man turned 3 at 12:20pm. I woke up in the morning just thinking what the day entailed the day he was born. I still remember like it happened yesterday. It will probably be in my memory forever, because how can it not, he's my child. Tristen you are a blessing and I love you more then you will ever know. You are such a wonder child!

I usually do something fun with just me and Tristen, so Tristen and I went to Fargo last Saturday and spent some fun time in the mall. We went to the Playland and spent alot of time in there and he had just a blast. I was very shocked when I said it was time to leave and he was fine with it and said "Bye Dinosaurs". It was too cute. We met up with my friend, Nicole. We went to the pet shop and got to pet the bunnies and looked at fish and puppies. He had just a blast finding Nemo and Dori. I made him a shirt for this birthday, which said in the front "It's My GOLDEN Birthday" and on the back it had the number 3. It turned out cute. I had so much fun. He is such a fun kid to play with. I love it. I need to have more special times like that with him, because its not going too long where he isn't going to want spend time with mommy.

Now, this week entails. Yesturday for his acutal birthday we went to Space Aliens. He had so much fun. He had grandma in the play room 90% of the time. Lets just say, Fargo is better. Ashton's parents came and so did his Aunt Joan and Uncle Jim. We had a good time. Brooklynn didn't know what was going on, she was just being passed from person to person, she loved it..all that attention. --- At daycare, we brought treats for the kidos and when I went to pick Tristen up Kathy had written on her mirror thing, "Happy Birthday Tristen" it was really cute. Wasn't expecting that what so ever. I think she knew that I didn't want to be away from him on his birthday, but I need to work. ---- This Saturday we are going to be celebrating his birthday with family at our house. It's Mickey Mouse theme, so this should be fun. I still need to order his cake, which he has been wanting. He loves to blow out his candle... little stinker.

Anyways.. the time goes by so fast. I don't like it. I sure know how my parents fell seeing her babies grow up, but I'm hoping she is proud how her children have came out. I have learned from the best!!!

New hair cut

Tristen got a hair cut today, which he has needed badly for awhile. He did an awesome job getting it cut, until towards to end when he had just enough with it. I think it was time, he has pictures next week and his birthday on Tuesday, so it was time! He looks so much older...wow! Such a cutie pie!

BEFORE

AFTER

Countdown is on

I am just thinking of moments of Tristen when he was Brook's age. It feels like yesturday he was born. It is just unreal that he will be 3 on Tuesday. Just 4 days to go. This is his Golden birthday (3 on the 3rd day in the 3rd month of the year), so I'm going to try to my best to make it really special for him, even though he probably wouldn't even know the difference. My baby is getting so big and so smart every day..holy moly. I think everyday where did you learn all of this. He knows all of his colors, shapes, and recongizes his letters, knows his name, memorizes books..wow.. and plus more! My little man!

Sickness

Ugh... sickness in this house hold is getting old. It started off last week, with Brooklynn getting sick with a cold and an ear infection, then went to Tristen which had the fever, vomiting, and bad cold. Brooklynn got better after getting some medication from the doctor, but this sickness with my kids costed me to stay home last week for two days. Then Ashton got sick on Thursday so he stayed home from work. It was lovely. Had three kids home being sick. I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Tristen was still feeling yukky. He seemed to look better during the day then when night time came around it crashed. It was weird. He surely wasn't my Tristen. He went to daycare on Friday because I needed to get back to work and thinking everything should be fine with my kids. When I came to pick them up, Tristen was laying on the couch and Brooklynn was acting like her 7 month old self. Our daycare provider said that Tristen has been quiet all day and didn't do much, which isn't Tristen. So I said to Ash, if he's not better on Sunday I'm taking him in. Well sure enough he was back to being Tristen and guess who else got sick.. ME! Go figure! My ears are throbing and my nose is stuffed up and my throat is soar. Yay for me.
I went to work yesturday, just miserable, because I can't afford taking anymore days off, but I was dragging. The principal saw me look this way at the end of the day, basically saying if I don't feel well tomorrow, stay in bed. I woke up this morning still feeling like crap. Tristen stayed at Ash's parent's place last night, and Ash's dad called me up this morning tell me that Tristen is complaining about his ear hurting. So... I called up the doctor and Tristen and I are going in to get our ears checked out. This will be Tristen's 1st official ear infection (if he has one, which I pretty sure he does) in his 3 yrs of life. Brooklynn has had 2 already in her 7 months of life. Tristen has been on medicine, so it was basically a barrier to prevent infections including ear infections. So we have been lucky. We'll see though.
Sickness.. I hate it!!! No calling in tomorrow.. Need to work.. Then thrusday and friday I get off anyway because of no school.. so.. yeah, short week for me.
